I need help finding Margie Rose Matheny. She is shown as a senior at North High School 1940, Columbus, Ohio. Says she lived at 194 E Dunedine Rd. Really need to know who she lived with at that address. She is supposed to have a sister Viola and a brother Howard. Sometime before 1946 she married James I Batten and lived in Baltimore, Md.
Does anyone have the street directory from 1940 that would show who lived at the address?

I am trying to establish a connection between the Hemphill and Caldwell families in Picaway County about 1800.  They lived in Jackson Township.  Cochran and Hendryx are surnames connected to the Hemphills.

I am looking for lineage records or information for William Eugene Hickinbotham, born in Frazeysburg in 1931. I find lineage from England to John Alexis and John Jesse Hickinbotham- but it seems to stop there. Clues I have found are mother as Marion Rose, or Mary Hickenbottom, or grandomther Lela Vickers.

I am trying to find the parents of Elizabeth McCaughey, who married Malcom McNeal in Muskingum County on 17 December 1840. She was born in Pennsylvania on 9 March 1818. Between 1850 and 1860 she moved to Perry County from Muskingum.

I have a possible family connection via the 1870 Oxford, Johnson, Kansas census. It shows Elizabeth living next door to a John McCaughey who arrived in Kansas about the same time from Ohio. Then the names of their children etc the fact the Elizabeth married Malcom in Muskingum County as did brother John and his wife Chrisina Meyers h
Both John and Elizabeth were born in Pennsylvania and lived in Muskingum county Ohio and Oxford, Johnson, Kansas.

Anyway, this is definitely a work in progress any help any of your detective skills could provide would be welcome.

The proper names are the Great Miami River (runs through Dayton and empties into the Ohio River) and the Little Miami River - just to the east of the Great Miami.
